Who we are
The Renal Lifecycle trial (www.renal-lifecycle.com) is a trial led from the University Medical Center Groningen, located at Hanzeplein 1, Groningen.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We do not collect personal data other than when a contact form is completed or an e-mail is sent to us. Information herein is only seen by the researchers to provide answers to questions asked.
Third-party information sources, such as websites, open in a new tab. We are not responsible for their content and processing of personal data.
When you fill out the contactform, the data from it (name, e-mail address, and question or comment) will be sent directly to the researchers. Your data will not be shared with third parties, only where necessary within the research group (to provide answers to the questions).
We use only necessary (functional) cookies for this website. These are not stored.
We do not use analytics data.
With whom we share your data
We do not share any personal data with third parties.
How long we store your data
When you leave a question via the contactform, that question and its metadata are stored for the duration of the survey and 25 years thereafter. This way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up responses instead of having to moderate them. The 25-year retention period is required by law in scientific research.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left a query, you can request an export file of the personal data we have on you, including all data you have given us. You can also request that any personal data we have be deleted. This does not include data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where your data is sent to
Questions sent through the contactform are sent directly to firstname.lastname@example.org. No other information is sent to third parties in any way.
